When Lew Morris and I wrote this, it was during a different Bush administration, but I don’t think much has changed. The rich get richer, and you know the rest.

12. I’ll Still Stand By You (3:02)
When I was growing up, all those great songs about Love Forever never told me anything about what it’s really like to be in a longterm relationship. This is about how love can triumph over all.
